the piercing some people have under their lip is called a "Labret" and is pronounced "lay-bret."
I so want my new computer now so I can work on my art. I do love this 4 year old laptop Inspiron 8100 that weighs 11 lbs. and can't be unplugged for 20 minutes, but it will live out the rest of its days in Kansas and hopefully not be raped repeatedly by porn and yahoo games spywear.
I'm going to Kansas for 16 days. It will be the most time I've spent there since 2000 when I stayed almost a month. I bet it will be hot. I think I will take my bike helmet. Supposedly I will drive my brother's mustang for transportation. If that turns out to be messy, then I'll rent a car. It seems that everything is cutting into my plan to run away to Europe this fall. Passport. I will need one anyway for Ottawa.
A month has gone by and I have not touched Two Socks. This is making me anxious. How am I an artist if I am not creating art? I just wrote a letter to Kansas’s rep Todd Tiahrt. I do have passion for my art and what I want to say and feelings I want to convey. This is what excites me, when I’m drawing or just thinking about it. But when I think about being an animation artist in the industry I feel so unmotivated to advance my career. why? Everyone advances. That’s just what people do right? I’m sitting on a storyboard test for a studio, where I don’t want to work. They want to see it. If I was sure the job was only for a month or two...I don’t know why I haven’t sent it. It’s too bad that animation in NY doesn’t seem to ever pay well. Why is that?
