ASIFA Drawings

I thought i'd show some drawings from asifa tonight. I wasn't going to go but i get sick of looking at a computer all day...well here i am again. so yeah, i hope ya'll like these :)

If i ever run for political office, Journey will be my campaign song. any Journey song.

this will win the support of Midwest middle class workers.


1.) "wheel in the sky" for the longtime fans. i think it will really hit the voters when they hear Steve Perry exclaim "..I don't know where I"LL BEEE TOOOMOOOOOHAAAAROOO OOHOOOOH!"

2.)"open arms"(so tired of this song) but everyone likes it.

3.) "separate ways" (pretty good choice). no one really thinks about the lyrics, just the driving beat. probably imagining Steve Perry and the rest of Journey bouncing with one foot far forward and crouching toward the camera. oh and steve perry in that stupid white coat. i think it will really touch the voters when they hear the power of the synthesizer and Steve perry say "...NOOOOOOOOOOO!! (DUH DUHT!) NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (GUH DUNT!!)"

4.) "dont stop believing" ( maybe the best choice). the title is good for thinking about the future and stuff. a lot like Clinton's "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow" by Fleetwood mac. very smart. i think it will really grab the voters when they hear Steve Perry sing " STREET LIGHTS!PEEEEEEOOPPLOOOOOO OOOHH OHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

so this is what i think so far. i haven't ironed out my politics. any suggestions?

i need to draw a picture of my campaign poster with steve perry with journey of course.

ok my real drawings last saturday really sucked, despite the Irish coffee. so here are a few "contest" pieces that didn't win.



Night Foot/ or Light Foot (i couldn't decide) was my attempted at a superhero.



We had to incorporate the leather daddy rubber ducky into this picture. it was getting pretty creepy. that's suppose to be a 40 in his hand.



I think this one had something to do with a lobster.

hey I plan on posting my roller derby burleques drawings too. even though they suck. but here's someone I was playing with in Flash.

i was just about to type about how i am such an idiot becuase ive been busting my ass all day and night to finish my animatic for the film grant tomorrow morning. but i jsut came up from down stairs after talking to abuot 10 police officers.

i hear some guy yelling outside. then i hear him calling for help. god i though it was a crazy person. then i heard "no one can hear you!" and i was like FUCK. so i hung my head ouside the window and found that 2 or 3 guy were kicking the shit out of another guy on the corner of my building. almost below my window.

I ran for my phone but i never know were is it so i woke cynthea up and said some guys getting his ass kicked. cynthea was on the phone with the police and the guy was still calling for help.i dont know if he was being mugged or what. i did soemting very stupid. i was leaning over the st jude and our lady of guadalupe candles by the window. i was afriad to yell "stop" with my girls voice so i uh threw down the candles. they hit in front of the porch. the guys doing the kicking were frighten off and ran around the conner.

i am so glad no one was walking out the front door. shit. i didnt even think about that at the time.

i could bearly hear the guy yelling becuase of the wind hitting the torned scaffleting-curtain on the luxury condo acrossed the street.


where the fuck was the door man???


god i know this- if i am robbed, raped, or being murdered on my own fucking corner no one on one is goign to fucking come out side and help me.

I went to a bar this afternoon for burlesque drawing. it was pretty fun. i haven't been life drawing like i should so i only have a few pics.

The model had awesome boots that i couldn't quite capture. she had to take them off after awhile becuase they hurt her feet.

Irish coffee is yummy.
