ran 10 miles
My computer is now in a peaceful comma-like state.
This past weekend I got a dangerous virus. Trojan. Vxgame whatever that is. I knew it was a virus when the curious looking virus protection icon (which I did not own) told me it was not working. It looks like a rounder version of the McCafee icon.
Look like so.

Part of it's charm is that it disguises itself as various removal tools. Plus my real virus protectors had no idea what to do. Even the Task Manager and System Restores were disabled.
The trouble was I also had storyboards to color, but thanks to Tricia I used her computer while I burn cds trying to saved my drowning files. most of my art and work folders and my website were spared, but I abandoned all 5 GBs of music. Good bye Morrissey:(
After I reformatted I realized I need a driver's disk. I have no idea where that could be. So now my computer is free of virus and useless. I guess its better than full of viruses and useless.
Oh yeah I ran 10 miles on sunday. I don't know if what i did qualified as "running."
It took me almost 2.5 hours. SO, the 13.1 half Marathon race is this saturday in Central Park. I hope I am not the absolute last person to finish. I hope I am not second to last if the last person is 80 yrs old with a walker.

What?
Who animated a music video for Sara Bareilles AND Ingrid Michaelson and I didn't get work on it? Not even a little bit. They are so cute. So cute.

I hope this butch genius thing works...
Our stupid toilet has been halfway broken forever. Basically the stopper has trouble setting on the drain so gallons of water are wasted. Usually I fix it by fastening a bread tie to the lever and the chain. But lately the stopper tends to stand upright and won't go down without giggling. I've told my roommates and left a note above the toilet reminding people to giggle. it seems to have gone unnoticed because when I walk by the bathroom I hear the toilet running. The other issue is that the door will slam shut unless you use doorstop. My roommates forget to use it. It's a problem because when the door is shut no one can hear if the toilet is wasting water. And it usually is.
So, a little while ago I heard one of my roommates walk out of the bathroom and let the door slam. A few minutes later I had to check if it was running. And yes the toilet was running. So this is my solution. I won't know if it works until the others wake up.
Note on the handle instead of the top (because the other one fell behind and nobody cared). I had to fix it because I misspelled jiggle in my zombie state this morning.

I took the doorstop and fastened it to Tally's old phone cord and tied that to the doorknob.

It should hang like so. When one leaves the bathroom the doorstop should simply fall under the door without any effort or comprehension by the roommate.
