background guide

ok I'm really determined to finish a background today for Two Socks. I'm not really happy with the animatic yet. it's hard for people to know what the true style is because I've been using flash and photoshop and sketching a lot.

so far it looks like I need 12 Bg's for Amy's Room.

plane

I wanted to play around with tone from manga studio :)
so here's my crazy plane which doesn't move in perspective. maybe someday it will...but for now I was curious to see what this style would look like.

Plus i wanted to play with an HD widescreen format. which didn't seem to matter since my Premiere will only take 720x480 or smaller. So I made a ghetto mask in Flash... I guess it's like Flash-Cinemascope. (720x 304)

Oh this is new to me: HDTV does not cater to 2.40 ratio right? so if I'm watching say Chicago on a very expensive HDTV will I still see bars at the top and bottom? I mean I just want a longer screen. i don't care about pixel count. I want grain tv. BIG grainy tv with lots of energetic noise.

I lost my 1997 model nokia phone last week. So I had to buy a new one.

I actually have a camera on my phone. here are some pictures i took with it:

not only can i take pics but I actually email them to...MYSELF. scary.

DVD and old drawings

Since my gig this week fell through, I decided to finally make that DVD of my 4 year old thesis film, Ark City. I'm almost there. It only works on my computer so far...I'll get there. Here is what the menu looks like.
The sound was corrupted so I had to fish for the original wav. files on a cd. I actually found it. I also found a bunch of other stuff like my half-assed pitchbook for Woodstock '99.

This is my boss driving. Tricia and I are cramped in the front seat. my bum was sore from the two uneven seats dividing my ass cheeks.

This is the embodiment of nicotine. It's for a PSA. So far it's 20 seconds long! The deadline is today and so I could not go to MTV movie awards after party last night.
