Grabbed All My Diamonds and Clothes

Yeah, that's the name of my Photoshop painting.

This started as a joke because Tricia (girl in the painting) bought a horrible bathing suit and wanted to show people but didn’t want to be blackmailed. So she posed for a picture and deleted herself from the image leaving only the suit. I thought I should piece back the picture by drawing her head, arms and legs onto the suit. And since I draw Tricia almost daily it would be a good test. When I turned off the suit layer the picture looked surreal so I wanted to play with that.

It can be found here... To Bathing Suit

By the way…I didn’t have a straight on reference so I used the Statue of Liberty. Maybe it’s just me but I think Tricia looks a lot like Lady Liberty.

The dr. pepper bottle took me all day to paint. When it’s small it doesn’t look like a painting so I added a close up.

I traced the outline of a photo and the label logo. The rest was “air brushed” if you can call it that. Then I copy pasted the other bottles. Which sucks on my part because up to that point it was almost like a real painting...sort of. No disrespect to digital panting but playing with this made me want to actually paint.

I really hope Washington Mutual lets people withdraw money without ID.

I think I left my wallet at home. So I have one dollar on me, a dollar fifty on my metro card. yet a checkbook and my work ID which looks more legitimate than my old SVA ID.

sorry no real complaints today

I thought I should post some work I've been workin' on for work instead of going into my torment of morals and ethics, the disappointment in life and in people. I should just start an emo band. We will name ourselves after a Smiths song which hasn’t been used by another emo band.

Ahem here is the colored version of the pan I posted before.

This is another pan for the next commercial.

These are the other sides of the room.
