I’m finally getting over my cold after being in 70-degree weather all week. it’s was a bit strange. within 4 days i saw the pacific ocean, the desert, Vegas and snow in Chelsea. I was downtown to watch Rocky Horror but we decided to see Brokeback Mt instead.
I went out to San Diego last week to see my brother off . he’s in the marines and has a 3 month stay in Iraq. we got to go on base and i got to sit in the pilots seat of a kc-130!

I spent a lot of time with my cousin. she also went out there to see Anthony. her ex-bf from like 10 years ago came too on a separate flight and stayed in our hotel. He slept on the floor. sounds weird but it didn’t seem weird. he was pretty cool. I didn’t know he played profession football.
Anthony should be in Iraq by now. he seems to have a pretty good life out in San Diego. I met a few of his best friends who were really cool. we hang out at the pub all afternoon waiting for my parents plane to arrive. they really changed my stereotype of California’s. (well i did have a Pretty Woman moment at the mall when we asked for economically-friendly sunglasses.) mostly everyone seem friendly especially baristas.
but maybe i always get along well with baristas. like they sense my starvation for caffeine. the hotel coffee was shitty and no one seemed to understand why i needed sugar and milk in my coffee. only a few times have i ever drank coffee black- it has to be very good coffee for that. oh and san Diego has amazing Mexican food.
this post is all jumbled- but i’m going to draw a picture of the lobster bear-craw machine at Dicks. It's at bar/grill in san diego.
