Training for NYC Mararthon

I have finished the animation for the first "Stage" of my NYC Marathon Funding Raising...game?

Team in Training's pre-training for in ING NYC Marathon will start this week on May 4th. Running this marathon has been a secret goal of mine for more than 10 years. Well maybe not a complete secret, but I hadn't imagined it really coming true. I also like the idea of doing it for charity.

While training, I plan to animate backgrounds based on the 5 boroughs of NYC. I hope that will give would-be donation givers incentive to see me reach my funding raising goal. oh here is the site if you would like to make a donation I and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society truly appreciate it. http://seechristirun.com/

I think I was food poisoned

I'm on antibiotics and still having dizzy spells. The few nights I had a fever (96.0 then to 101.7) I slept and woke up in the morning. Now that I'm getting back to normal I can't sleep...and I can't work. It's now 6am and the only work I've done is upload and promote my last project.

I'm going to have to come a resolution with my computer very soon. I can't composite my next project in its condition. I can't afford a new one or buy windows 7. Really I don't think I need a new computer for my next project. I need an operating system that can handle my *lligal programs without destroying itself and setting me back two weeks while animating. I'm already two weeks behind on my current "animation" but partly because I left to see family. I don't regret any of that. But I do regret getting very sick.

I hate puking so much. It's not only the grossness and shame of clinching a toilet bowl but the pain in my sides is so awful and the thought of losing perfectly purchased food... I'm not kidding about the food. While I thought I had caught the flu, the receipt for $10.50-the baked ziti flashed in my mind. I had planned to get 2 meals out of it.

Anyway I don't want to think too much about that ziti. The same day my bathroom light had burned out but since my head was so congested from the sinus infection I didn't want to buy a bulb or climb a latter. So as I was vomiting all night I couldn't quite see it all. Maybe it was better that way.

After my fever broke I replaced the bulb, bought Gatorade, chicken broth and crackers. I hung a painting, watched Casino with commentary on, backed up my entire computer, began to reformat it but could not find the drivers/utilities disk so I started searching for it, realized I was really nauseous and thought to myself "No it's 2am. I am not reformatting my computer now. And Jose says Mercury is in retrograde." I'm still not quite sure just why retrograde is such a bad thing but oh well. I think my mom is a little bit psychic because she wins at keno.

Today I felt like sh*t again but I forced myself to go to drawing because I miss being around people. After dinner with Cynthea and Nelson I got on the 2/3 to Brooklyn by mistake then had to take a 2 local back to 14th. I hate being so out of it.

Oh I almost forgot to post this. It's the whole animation. I'm sure most of you have seen it before but if not...

Stencil Animation. a small clip

My animation should play on ADAsport.com very soon. I'm a little antsy because I've been telling everyone about it for a few months. So here is a small clip.
